- Exclusive powers regarding
betterment tax.
- Exclusive powers regarding
building permit and certificate of completion.
- Grant of exemptions.
- Exclusive powers regarding
compulsory purchase orders.
- Judicial powers regarding
claims related to damages resulting from zoning regulations.
- Supervision powers,
including order to stop building activities.
Appeal
commissions
The appeal commissions judges
any appeal on the decisions of the local zoning commission, regarding
for instance, building permits and exemptions.
